Nourriture top barranco mtl

Every fall, Montreal sits down to dinner. MTLàTABLE, the food event organized by Tourisme Montréal, is back for its 14th edition. Here is what you need to know to make the most of it, plus a Peruvian option if you are looking for a different prix fixe this season.

MTLàTABLE 2026 at a glance

  • Dates: October 29 to November 15, 2026.
  • Restaurants: 165 Montreal restaurants, about fifty of them new.
  • Dinner menu prices: $38, $55, $70 or $90 depending on the restaurant, for three or four courses.
  • Brunch: $28 at the restaurants that offer it.
  • Booking: not required but strongly recommended, directly with each restaurant.

The full list of restaurants and menus is on the official MTLàTABLE website.

Tips to pick the right table

  • Book early, especially for Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
  • Read the menu before you book: the number of courses and the choices vary from one restaurant to the next.
  • Plan for drinks: they are usually not included in the menu price.
  • Mention allergies when you book, not only at the table.

In the mood for a Peruvian prix fixe? Meet BarrancoàTable

Barranco is not part of MTLàTABLE this year. Instead, we created our own fall tradition: BarrancoàTable, a 4-course Peruvian prix fixe for $55, served every night from October 29 to November 22, 2026, one week longer.

One choice in each course, always with a vegetarian option:

  • Starter: yuquitas al parmesano, tequeños con guacamole or anticuchos de corazón;
  • Ceviche or palta, tasting size: ceviche Clásico, ceviche Rocoto or palta rellena;
  • Main: arroz con mariscos, ají de gallina or chaufa kam lu tofu;
  • Dessert: suspiro limeño or alfajores de lúcuma.
