Who we are
Barranco Restaurant (Barranco Partners), 4552 Rue Saint-Denis, Montréal (Québec) H2J 2L3. Phone 438-814-8213, email info@barrancorestaurant.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect through barrancorestaurant.com, why, and how you can control it, under Québec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25).
Person in charge of personal information
Fidel Martin Vasquez, owner, fidel@barrancopartners.com. Questions, requests or complaints: use the form at the bottom of this page or write to this address.
What we collect, and why
- Catering, group and contact requests: name, email, phone and the details you give us (date, number of guests, message), to answer you and prepare a quote.
- Newsletter and promotions: your email (and name if you give it), to send you our news and offers, only if you ask for it. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- Browsing: cookies for audience measurement and advertising, only if you accept them (see our cookie policy). Without any cookie, the site also keeps anonymous daily totals of taps on its buttons (Book, Call, Order…); they identify no one.
Reservations, online orders, gift cards and the BP Club loyalty program use outside platforms (OpenTable, our ordering and gift-card providers, rewards.barrancopartners.com): the information you enter there is governed by their own policies.
Consent
We only use your contact details to send you offers if you agreed to it (box ticked, newsletter sign-up) or, as allowed by Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation, for 6 months after you contacted us. You can withdraw your consent at any time: the unsubscribe link, the form below, or an email to fidel@barrancopartners.com.
Who receives it
Our team (restaurant, events and Barranco Partners head office) and service providers that work for us: website hosting, our newsletter tool (Mailchimp), Google (Analytics and Tag Manager with your consent, reCAPTCHA against spam), Microsoft Clarity (with your consent) and our customer file (Pulse, Barranco Partners). Some of these providers keep information outside Québec, notably in the United States; we choose providers that protect it adequately.
We never sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
Requests sent through our forms are deleted after 24 months. Newsletter sign-ups are kept until you unsubscribe. Anonymous totals can be kept longer: they identify no one.
Security
Access to requests is limited to the staff who need it, with personal accounts. If an incident puts your information at risk of serious harm, we notify you and the Commission d’accès à l’information.
Your rights
- see the information we hold about you and get a copy, including in a structured format;
- have it corrected or deleted;
- withdraw your consent at any time;
- file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (cai.gouv.qc.ca).
