Our History

The restaurant draws its inspiration from the bohemian and picturesque district of Barranco in Lima, Peru. Barranco is famous for its lively nightlife, excellent restaurants and bars.The founders of this project, Fidel M. Vasquez, Renatto Miranda and Josué Briones Corcuera, are from Peru and have a vast experience in the restaurant and nightlife industry in Montreal. Together, they brought the restaurant Pio Pio Mtl back to life in the spring of 2021 and now present a new modern and urban establishment.Their shared passion for Peruvian cuisine and the warm atmosphere are reflected in the establishment located in the heart of Plateau-Mont-Royal.
